Our first club has been an incredible success. We are now in an exciting growth phase, looking for the next team of champions to shape our brand new South Yarra venue, opening in the coming months!

The Position

Probably the most loved team member in the club, you will brighten everyone's day with your exceptional coffee and beverage making skills, with your warm, positive, engaging and professional manner. 

As a member of the esteemed Front of House team in our Organic Wholefoods Restaurant, you will be responsible for taking orders, barista services, making smoothies, floor service, cleaning and general administration duties.  

Named ‘Haven Wholefoods’, the Organic Wholefoods Restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch service 7-days per week with take home meal options and catering available. It is a key component of the Saint Haven member experience as well as being a sophisticated and delicious neighbourhood eatery for locals.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Hospitality services such as service of food, coffee, tea and other beverages
  • Keeping a professional and friendly demeanour for Saint Haven members and guests – proactively suggesting food and beverage offerings
  • Assisting Saint Haven members and guests with questions around those food and beverage offerings
  • Educating members on the broad array of Saint Haven offerings that we deliver, to inspire them to become even more vital and well
  • Daily interacting with members and guests in a respectful, professional, calm manner 
  • Understanding member preferences and anticipating needs
  • Always presenting yourself in a clean and tidy manner 
  • Working through daily checklists to ensure all areas of responsibility are clean and looking to the expected standard
  • Developing cohesive working relationships with your teammates and peers
  • Oversee and assist with general cleanliness and tidiness of the restaurant
  • Creating a positive atmosphere for members and guests
  • Completing opening and closing tasks

The Successful Candidate

  • You understand and are passionate about the beautiful art of cocktail and coffee creation
  • You have significant experience in the hospitality industry, including but not limited to cafe or restaurant experience in roles such as a barista or bartender
  • You have a personal interest in health and wellness 
  • You have a genuine willingness to learn and stay up to date with the latest in health and wellbeing trends and Saint Haven offerings
  • You are people focused - you are genuine, honest and operate with integrity. 
  • You thrive on watching your team succeed and develop their skills and experience 
  • You are self-assured, patient, listen intently, speak clearly, and are comfortable communicating at all levels
  • You are driven, perceptive, ask questions and always strive to understand the bigger picture 
  • You must be open to working early mornings, evenings and weekends
