AddressAltona Bay Basketball Association (ABBA) is responsible for the development of basketball in the western suburbs of Melbourne. Our mission is to promote the game of basketball within our community and to develop players to compete at the highest level of basketball. ABBA has around 450 teams across our junior and senior domestic competitions.
About the role:
The Competition Manager is responsible for the delivery of all the operational activities within the senior and junior ABBA domestic competitions. This includes but is not limited to, managing competition fixtures, game day supervisors, court bookings, payment of invoices, other administrative functions & social media.
The Competition Manager will oversee the delivery of Altona Bay Basketball Association competitions. The position will work when competitions are being conducted, i.e. at night and on Saturdays and some of the work can be undertaken remotely.

Highly Desirable skills:
Understanding of PlayHQ software
Experience within basketball associations and/or clubs
Experience in growing and managing successful domestic Basketball Competitions
