Form of workCoastwide Concrete is a locally owned and operated company supplying ready-mix concrete to the building and construction industry across the Central Coast region.
We currently have an opportunity for a suitable person to join the team as a Batcher/Allocator based out of our Gosford and Warnervale sites.
As a Batcher/Allocator you are responsible for ensuring that customer expectations are met with service and product quality.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure the efficient batching and loading of concrete, using specific concrete batching software.
- Optimising the utilisation of the Coastwide Concrete fleet through effective planning.
- Engage with customers and respond to enquiries in a timely manner.
- Manage stock levels to meet the demands of customer requirements.
About you:
- A current HR drivers license with a suitable driving record. (Preferred but not required.)
- Be a team player who is self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised.
- Posses a passion for providing the best customer experience.
- Ability to multi-task and make effective decisions under pressure.
- Be passionate about safety and environment with a strong work ethic.
- Have effective communication skills.
- Be able to perform all duties associated with the position including manual handling.
- Ability to work reasonable overtime including Saturdays when required.
- Be able to, or willing to learn to operate the Front End Loader.
- Relevant concrete industry experience will be highly regarded however full training will be provided.
