Are you an experienced and enthusiastic training professional looking for a new opportunity? Due to continued growth across our group, we are seeking a Senior Learning and Development Partner to join our Support Office team. 

Reporting to our People & Culture Manager this role offers a chance to make a real impact by providing exceptional development and training experiences for our team in the Perth Metro area. 

About the Role:

As our Senior Learning & Development Partner, you will be integral in setting our group apart from other providers through ongoing development and investment in the growth of our people. You will be be responsible for:

  • Designing and delivering core training modules in customer service skills and industry-specific technical competencies.
  • Continuing to deliver and further enhance our leadership training program, expanding to include our emerging leaders across the group.
  • Delivering our group Induction to new team members in conjunction with our operations team.
  • Assisting in the development and delivery of competency based assessments for managers and team members.
  • Building and maintaining productive and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the business. 
  • Working closely with the operations team to understand career pathways and align training needs to meet business needs.
  • Staying updated on industry changes and new training techniques to advance our L&D function. 
  • Assisting the business in ensuring compliance with mandatory training and signing up to industry specific certifications.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with industry training and education providers.

About You:

The right candidate will demonstrate:

  • A proven track record of designing and delivering training including leadership development programs.
  • Management of Learning Management systems and software to develop and deliver ongoing training schedules.
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships with people from all backgrounds and at all levels.
  • The ability to work well as part of a team but also can work autonomously.
  • A positive, flexible and ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to go above and beyond in their role.
  • Creativity, initative and problem-solving skills to develop new training initiatives.

Role requirements:

  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Minimum 2 years experience in an L&D role
  • Holds a Cert IV in Training and Assessment
  • Can work flexible hours, including delivering training outside of ordinary business hours.
  • Experience or understanding of the childcare industry is preferred but not essential.
