Mechanical Service Technician - Murrin Murrin

About the role:

Reporting to the Logistics Leader you will be working as part of the Aurizon maintenance team in Murrin Murrin (WA). This is a permanent position working FIFO roster and will see you exercise your mechanical skills in assisting with the maintenance requirements of the Aurizon fleet.

• Assist with routine servicing, corrective maintenance and fault repair.
• Perform production work including operating machines, cleaning equipment and tools and assisting trade staff as directed.
• Perform general labouring duties as directed by leaders and coordinators.
• Utilise and input accurate data into information and maintenance management systems.
• Provide a high level of customer service to internal/external stakeholders.

About you: 

• Proven mechanical aptitude.
• Strong commitment to safety.
• Current unrestricted drivers’ licence.
• High risk heavy forklift ticket.
• HR / MC license.
• CN / reach stacker ticket (advantage).
• Front end loader ticket (advantage).
• Ability to work cross functionally and as part of a team.
• Experience in working in a heavy industry, working around heavy machinery.
