Soak Bathhouse, Mermaid Beach is the flagship bathhouse for the new Soak Bathhouse wellness experience. Having recently opened, we are recruiting for casual Bathhouse Hosts for weekend work with some weekday shifts.
Job Description – Bathhouse Host
We're in search of a dedicated team of Bathhouse Hosts who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and are highly organised. This role involves providing outstanding service to our guests and handling day-to-day bathhouse operations as part of a team. It's a casual position, and we're looking for team members who can work various shifts throughout the week, from Monday to Sunday, between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm.
As a Bathhouse Host, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the bathhouse while guaranteeing our guests enjoy the ultimate wellness experience. Your responsibilities will revolve around delivering exceptional service to our guests from the moment they arrive until they depart.
Key duties include:
- Warmly greeting clients upon arrival and providing assistance as needed.
- Efficiently managing the check-in process, ensuring accuracy and promptness.
- Facilitating bookings and reservations, via phone, email and in person utilising our booking system.
- Addressing guest inquiries promptly and courteously, providing accurate information and assistance.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the bathhouse facility, ensuring a pleasant environment for all guests.
- Adhering to Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) regulations and protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of guests and staff.
- Other duties as assigned to support the overall operation of the establishment.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A genuine passion for the health and wellness industry.
- Exceptional customer service skills, coupled with a flexible and solution-oriented approach to achieve positive outcomes.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively, manage a diverse workload, and handle multiple responsibilities.
- A friendly and lively personality, coupled with a positive, self-starting attitude and a commitment to consistently performing at a high standard.
- Impeccable grooming and presentation standards.
- Proficiency in computer and administrative tasks, including experience with scheduling software.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Flexibility to work weekends, nights, school holidays, and public holidays as required.
