- Comfortable with heavy lifting techniques while utilising manual handling equipment
- You can work with minimal supervision, but with high levels of respect for others
- Availability for weekend work
- Forklift license highly desirable!
A little bit about the role...Endeavour Foundation is a member of Charitable Recycling Australia (CRA) which promotes the impact of the charitable reuse, recycling and retail sector. As a
Recycling Attendant, you will play an integral role in the coordination of recyclable goods to ensure objects are recycled appropriately, you will also:
- Inspect the load of each public vehicle entering the waste facility to ascertain the contents of each load and direct drivers to the appropriate recycling areas
- Direct customers where to unload contents and advise the most appropriate methods of disposing
- Maintain a high level of tidiness and presentation of premises to ensure Endeavour and the waste facility’s image is of the highest standard
- Comply with Endeavour’s Work Health and Safety policies and procedures to ensure safety in and out of the workplace is upheld
