AddressAs a Battery Technician, you will perform inspections, repair and overhaul of Aviation Batteries, working in a busy and positive team environment. You will receive a monthly rostered-day-off and will NOT be required to work weekends (our hours are 7.30am – 4.00pm, Monday to Friday). We provide off street parking and our airconditioned workshop is situated close to public transport.
- Duties including battery assembly and disassembly.
- Aviation Battery experience would be highly regarded.
- Undertake Test & Reports, repairs, maintenance and conditioning of batteries and cells
- Inspection, checking, testing programming and downloading data from Chargers
- Fitting monitors, alarm devices and testing equipment to batteries
- Sound level of computer literacy
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness and ability to follow manuals and procedures are essential.
- Additional training will be provided.
About you:
To be the ideal candidate you must have a Trade certificate in either Electronics or Battery related and are keen to develop your career in the Aviation industry.
