Skildare Defence is now recruiting a Battle Worthiness Capability (BWC) Specialist to contribute to the development of Air Warfare Centre’s (AWC) Battle Worthiness Framework (BWF).

About You
This position is ideal for a high-calibre individual well-versed in Australian Defence Force (ADF) capabilities, is experienced in warfare concept development and understands how capabilities interact to successfully deliver mission effects. Collaborating with our EXCON team, you will be instrumental in developing, executing, managing, testing and evaluating test scenarios for tactical and operational level activities.
In the role, you will work with capability SMEs to understand platform roadmaps and interoperability dependencies and develop test activities from capability manager inputs to validate system performance.
Requirements
- Australian or United States citizenship;
- Contributions to Coalition's Operational Test or Tactics Development frameworks;
- Australian or United States Weapon School Graduate (Desirable);
- Understanding of how Defence manages capabilities (Desirable).
You will have the ability to contribute as an SME in one or more of the dimensions below:
- Systems networking development and effectiveness assessment
- Mission engineering concepts development
- Weapon System Evaluation
- Other specialist skills that contribute to the ability to evaluate the effectiveness of combat capabilities.
