On their behalf we are looking to attract the “best in business”; a highly motivated, results driven, connected Projects Business Development Manager to join their team at an executive level.
This is a prestigious major project business development opportunity; if selected you will be introduced to already established and respected relationships within Tier 1, D & C contactors, working with them and your existing business partners developing and maintaining long term mutually rewarding business collaborations.
In securing this role your responsibilities will include:
- Build and maintain effective and enduring business relationships with major clients across the electrical contractor sector;
- Effectively influence key decision makers to become their ‘go to’ trusted advisor;
- Identify upcoming Major Projects and opportunities;
- Keep up to date on the economy and construction market in order to determine pipeline of projects, including potential timing, value estimate and likelihood to win the orders;
- Work with key decision makers to determine their wants, needs and buying criteria;
- Provide technical product advise and present product solutions suited to the application;
- Win the majority of project orders from the opportunities forecast to close;
- Provide market feedback and report on competitor activity;
- Provide customer and product information via sales forecasts;
- Provide reliable and consistent first class customer service.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess the following skills and experience:
- Tertiary qualified in a relevant business or trade subject;
- Sales experience in industrial, manufacturing or construction sectors;
- Technical capability;
- The ability to drive new business and sales growth;
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills;
- Demonstrable negotiation and influencing skills;
- A "hands on – can do" attitude and a flexible nature are essential.
