Optus’ Ex (Employee Experience) division lead in the focus area for Unified Communications, Collaboration and Meeting Solutions capability. The Sales Specialist role is tasked with providing deep sales expertise to support the Optus Major and Enterprise Sales Teams.
 
The BDM ofUnified Comms and Meeting Rooms primary objective is to hunt for new opportunities from a list of named account targets and acquire new clients for Optus across the services and products for EX.
 
Your day in the life at Optus

-Identify customer challenges and articulate the Optus value proposition and how they can address and solve customer problems
-Research key large enterprise and strategic prospect targets to identify key decision makers therein
-Prospect on a daily/weekly basis to senior/ C-Level decision makers to develop new business
-Ensure individual Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are met and/or exceeded.
-Independently manage the entire sales cycle with the ability to accurate forecast
-Generate new business; create client presentations, proposals, reports, and conduct onsite and remote presentations and demonstrations
-Create strong relationships with large & strategic prospects leading to contract signature
Your skills to pay the bills

-Degree holder with demonstrated experience in B2B sales with track record of quota achievement / over achievement
-Skilled at consultative and solution-based sales approach
-Understanding of Microsoft Modern Work, Collaboration, AI trends and Cisco UC products, pricing models and benefit statements
-Excellent relationship-building skills and experience in customer liaison and management
-Must be a committed self-starter who has the drive to succeed in a high-energy team environment
-Exceptional presentation skills, written and oral communication skills
