SalaryRewind Skin & Laser is a premium cosmetic and laser clinic in Port Kennedy, just south of Rockingham. We are a doctor-owned and operated clinic that opened in 2017 and have built a loyal clientele over those 7+ years
Our doctor and registered nurse perform cosmetic injectables, cosmetic mole removal and PDO threads while our dermal therapists perform laser and IPL skin treatments, laser body contouring, skin needling, waxing and a multitude of other facial treatments. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified dermal therapist or advanced beauty therapist take their career to the next level. This is a casual contract with the potential for transition to permanent employment for the right candidate.
WHAT WE NEED
A fully qualified and certified dermal therapist or advanced beauty therapist, minimum 3-4 days required with the potential to gain long term full, or nearly full time hours.
The position is casual, however the right person will have the opportunity to increase hours/shifts leading to full time as they build up clientele.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- MUST be diploma qualified and have some clinic experience
- MUST be a team player but be able to work autonomously
- MUST be willing to take direction and continue to learn
- MUST aspire to a career in advanced dermal therapies
- MUST be impeccably groomed
- MUST have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- MUST be familiar and comfortable with regular social media posting and promotion
- MUST be punctual and reliable and be flexible in hours needed to work.
- MUST be able to provide at least 2 recent professional references and have police clearance.
- Prefer someone seeking to gain long term full, or nearly full time hours
- Prior knowledge and training in the Ultraceuticals range of products is highly desirable.
- We would prefer someone who is skin focused and aspires to expand their career into skin and light-based therapies
- Must be able to work Saturdays and some evenings.
THE ROLE
The role will include
- Making appointments and answering queries at reception via telephone, email and social media messaging
- Consulting clients and creating treatment plans
- Assisting the doctor and nurse with preparing clients for treatments
- Using our 3D imaging technology to assess clients
- Delivering a variety of facial treatments
- Developing relationships with clients.
- Recommending and selling treatments, packages and skincare products
- Assisting in marketing and promotion of services and products
RESPONSIBILITIES
Major responsibilities will include;
- Design thorough consultation and treatment plans for clients
- Facial and light-based treatment delivery
- Consistent and accurate client clinical record keeping
- Client relationship building and client management through reminder systems and email/SMS marketing
- General clinic support as required
- Learning new treatments and new ways to do existing treatments
- Assisting with telephone and email inquiries
- Stock control and ordering
