We are recruiting the next generation of Heavy Vehicle Trainers for our Thomastown & Truganina sites.
Armstrongs puts all trainers through a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, as well as providing ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of an Armstrongs Heavy Vehicle Trainer & Assessor include:
- Delivering the highest quality training and assessment to clients, whilst adhering to standards and requirements set out by Armstrongs, VicRoads and WorkSafe;
- Professionally delivering Armstrongs’ products and services with behaviours at the highest standards that encourage clients to recommend both the trainer and Armstrongs as an organisation;
- Completing and recording documentation in line with Armstrongs’ Quality System;
- Delivering all services and products in a manner that complies with relevant legal requirements, including Compliance, OH&S and other legal requirements;
- Adhoc projects, as defined by Armstrongs’ senior management.

Qualifications and Experience:
To be considered for a Trainer / Assessor role with us, you must:
- Hold (at a minimum) a Heavy Rigid (HR) Synchromesh ('B' Condition) licence; and
- Have at least 12 months in the past 5 years of professional general freight driving experience.
