CENTRAL COAST CANDIDATES!
Pathways Early Intervention is an in-clinic and mobile, early intensive behavioural intervention service. We provide high-quality, in home, Early Intervention programs, based on the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) - the most effective and evidence-based teaching approach for children with autism. We are looking to grow our team, with fun and enthusiastic Behaviour Technicians (Allied Health Assistants) for our Central Coast clients!
Our Behaviour Technicians must be able to conduct sessions in the Central Coast regions. We are specifically looking for a candidate with afternoon availability (3:30-5:30pm) at least 3 days per week. Additional hours may be available for the right candidate.
We have openings for both experienced therapists and those wanting to start their career. University students currently studying in a related field (Education, Psychology, Speech and Language Pathology and Occupational Therapy) are welcomed!
The successful applicant must have a genuine and keen aspiration to work with children with additional needs. Initial and ongoing training is provided, as well as opportunities for ongoing professional development and career progression.
The successful candidate will have an engaging and fun approach to interacting with young children, an openness to feedback and ongoing clinical improvement, a robust work ethic, and the sensitivity to understand the challenges of our learners and their families.
Requirements for this role include the following:
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current Mandatory Child Protection Training (we can point you in the right direction to obtain this!)
- A current driver's licence and own car
- Completion of an online introductory course to applied behaviour analysis and supporting children with ASD (we can point you in the right direction to obtain this!)
- Has obtained or is working towards a related qualification (ABA, Education, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy)
