YOUR DAY-TO-DAY
- Ensures that all guest luggage is tagged correctly and neatly
- Be familiar and knowledgeable of daily events, promotions, events, VIP’s and regular guests.
- Handle guest feedback and take necessary action to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Ensure that all associates in Bell Team meet grooming standards of the hotel as set out in the Associate Handbook.
- Assist guests with booking limousines, hire cars, restaurants, theatre tickets and other services
- Ensures that all Bell Attendants log all of their tasks accordingly.
- Plan and roster staff for Group Arrivals and Group Departures to ensure prompt delivery of luggage.
- Ensure that a detailed & accurate Bell Control Sheet is filled in correctly every shift i.e AM & PM shiftConduct shift briefing to ensure that all Bell Attendants are informed.
- Briefs the incoming PM Bell Captain
- Maintain an effective flow of communication within the Bell department and co-ordinate with other Front Office and hotel departments as necessary.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- Look smart – wear your uniform with pride
- Strong interpersonal skills both written and verbal
- Flexible – weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job
- Be physically fit & able to stand on your feet for long period of time
- Ability to train and relay information to the team
- 2 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Hold a full Drivers Licence
