Your new role: Our WA division is currently looking for a full time Belt Pickers to join our team based in Kwinana. These positions play a crucial role in our waste processing operations, ensuring efficient sorting, and shredding of materials for recycling purposes. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. For the right candidate, career progression through the operation will be available. 

Responsibilities will include:

• Sort and separate recyclable materials from incoming waste streams.
• Monitor conveyor belts and equipment to ensure smooth flow and efficient processing.
• Safely handle and dispose of non-recyclable materials according to established protocols.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to optimize performance and prevent downtime.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to minimize accidents and injuries.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of materials processed and equipment maintenance activities.

To be successful you will have:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify different types of materials.
• Physical stamina and strength to lift, carry, and manipulate heavy objects.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.

It will be of added advantage if you have:

• Previous experience in a similar industry.
• Ticket to operate a forklift
