Belt Splicers, Rubber Liners & Conveyor Technicians

We have a well-established and integrated presence across the conveyors industry, providing the group with a uniquely broad product and service offering.Our Kalgoorlie, Western Australia team is currently seeking experienced Belt Splicers, Rubber Liners and Conveyor Technicians to work with both mechanical and splicing crews.These roles will be responsible for the safe and timely completion of service based activities, including conveyor inspections, repairs, overhauls, service/installation of conveyor belt cleaning components, roller and skirt change-outs, and ceramic rubber lining including ceramic tiles and application of trowelable ceramic products.The roles operate within a 24/7 breakdown industry with frequent travel to our customers' sites, weekend and night shifts as required.To be considered for one of these roles, you will:
- Possess a strong commitment to WH&S in the workplace
- Have a minimum of 4 years' previous experience in belt splicing and/or working with conveyors, conveyor equipment and services in mining/ports/grain terminals
- Hold a C class driver's licence
- Have experience in the use of handling chemicals
- Have a willingness to learn and follow instruction
- Be a team player
- Have the ability to get to work on time and demonstrate reliability
- Have a willingness to participate in a pre-placement medical (including ongoing drug & alcohol testing)
- Hold a Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
- Have rubber lining experience (preferred but not essential)
- Hold a Working at Heights ticket (preferred but not essential)
- Hold a Confined Space ticket (preferred but not essential)
