About the Role:
In support of our growing portfolio, we are seeking highly skilled and motivated Conveyor Technicians to join our close-knit maintenance team on an 182 Dynamic Roster (similar to a shutdown roster - Simply explained, is a variable work schedule designed to meet the highs and lows of work demand). Fly In, Fly Out from Perth.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor you will be responsible for maintain & repairing a wide variety of fixed plant assets:
- Work within the mechanical maintenance team across 6 of our BHP Western Australia Iron Ore (WAIO) mine sites
- Carry out preventative, general maintenance and repairs on conveyor equipment such as skirts, liners and scrapers
- Assist in the overhaul and assembly of equipment
- Undertake training and upskilling as relevant to technical role
- Be comfortable in the use of maintenance systems (SAP)
- Take personal responsibility for achieving results
- Actively participate in identification of continues improvement
- Safety first with the capacity to speak up and play an active role in positive team culture and creating a great workplace.
About you:

We are seeking applications from candidates with genuine interest in fixing and repairing equipment and possess the following:
- Experience working in fixed plant shutdown or maintenance, scraper, liners or skirts exposure is highley desirable
- Trade qualified is advantageous, but not a must
- Ability to work at heights and complete heavy lifting
- High regard for safety and a desire to learn and develop
- Dedicated and enthusiastic team member with an interest in problem solving
- Exposure to Fly In, Fly out and or shift work
- Forklift/EWP advantageous
- Basic Rigging ticket is a plus
