Location: Sino Iron
Roster: 2:1 (2 weeks on / 1 weeks off)
Term: Casual to Full-time
Fly In/Fly Out Day: Tuesday
We are looking for experienced Belt Technicians to be a part of the Karridale Sino Iron Maintenance Team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carry out steel cord & fabric conveyor belt splicing and repairs
- Conveyor system maintenance including but not limited to roller changes, roller frame change out & repairs, skirt replacement & repairs, installation of tracking devices
- Maintain safety & belt hygiene standards across the fixed plant process
- Operate mechanical conveyor belt handling equipment such as winders, winches and belt stands
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and log all information
- Operate Conveyor vulcanizing and belt handling equipment
- The ability to pass Pre-employment Medical and D&A Testing
- Willingness of male candidates to be clean shaven for the use of P2 respirators
- Level 2 or 3 Belt Splicing trade qualification or similar.
- Working at heights certificate valid within the last two years
- Confined space certificate valid within the last two years
- Full-time contract (upon successful completion of 3 swings)
