About the role
As our next Bench Hand reporting to the Senior Shot Firer, you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results.
The Lake Vermont Coal Project is situated in Dysart, North Queensland.
- Dipping holes
- Baiting holes
- Bobbing holes
- Report findings and paperwork as required
- Monitor and address safety throughout the entire drilling and blasting process
- Follow all site policies and procedures
About you
To be successful in this role you are required to have:
- HR Drivers licence (advantageous, not a pre requisite)
- Coal Mining Experience
- Queensland Explosives Security Clearance
- Standard 11
- Coal Board Medical
- Effective time management skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to complete intensive manual labour outside
- Effective communication skills
