Procurement & Parts Officer

rades Workforce Solutions provides Australian Engineering and Manufacturing sectors with specialist resourcesOur client located in Campbellfield, is a leader of high end vehicle imports and conversions.A permanent full time position is vacant for a highly motivated Procurement and Parts Officer.Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated ability/experience in the motor vehicle industry i.e., Parts / Sales Administration
• Experience in Purchasing.
• Negotiation Skills
• Excellent Computer Skills
• Driver’s licence

Tasks & responsibilities

• Work with Engineering and Production to identify parts required for production.
• Responsible for purchasing and supply of all parts (Overseas and Local).
• Responsible for sourcing Parts and Vendors
• Responsible for reports to Admin as required.
• Monitor Supplier Performance.
• Assist in implementation of new software and maintenance of same.
• Responsible for accurate data base.

Responsible for warehouse staff. * Collaboration with Finance to identify and clear dead and slow-moving stock.

• Responsible for clear identification & location of all parts.
• Responsible for OH&S in Warehouse.

Promotion and Sales of Retail Parts. * Identify Platforms for Marketing Retail PartsSkills and Attributes

• Good phone manner
