Qualified Veterinary Nurses

We are a small clinic with a big heart and a leading veterinary practice in the region. We have a high standard vet clinical hospital in Sydney with the knowledge, experience and expertise that cover a range of services in 2 convenient locations. We practice the highest quality veterinary medicine, and we will take care of animals like family members. Our vet hospital is always up to date with changes in the industry as we understand the many factors need to be considered regarding diagnostics and treatment planning. We are now looking for two skilled Veterinary Nurses to join our team in Rhodes and Wolli Creek. To apply you will need to have a qualification, be enthusiastic, self-motivated, have strong multi-tasking ability, excellent communication and organisational skills. You will need excellent computer skills with experience in Ezyvet, and Idexx laboratory machines and 2 years' experience veterinarian nursing. We are offering $70,000 - $75,000 /year + superannuation
Key Responsibilities

• Assisting veterinarians in consultations, medical and surgical procedures
• Carry out advanced nursing skills (e.g IV catheters, blood collection, intubation)
• Prepare and carry out in-house and external pathology tests
• Support and monitor patient anaesthesia
• Provide treatment and monitoring for hospitalised patients
• Maintain a clean and organised clinical space
• Deliver outstanding customer service care and advice
• Other duties a required
