About the role
We are looking for Entry Level candidates for Bench hand positions who have a good attitude and are mechanically minded with a Strong adherence to safety culture, policies and procedures to work at a local mine site in the Gunnedah Region.
What you will be doing
You will be required to work 12.5hr day shift 7:7 roster.
Assist with the 'hands-on' delivery of explosive products down pre-drilled blast holes on bench;
Assisting Shotfirers& Drillers on site
Priming and loading blast holes
Maintain records of drill holes
What you need
1 years experience in a similar role or Mining experience would be beneficial however willing to consider candidates with demonstrated experience working in a manual labouring role
Willing to obtain UHL through Worksafe at your own cost
Willing to undertake a full Order 43 Medical, Drug & Alcohol Test
Dangerous Goods Licence preferable, however not essential
Provide 2 current workplace references
