Bicycle Store Manager

Company Overview: Giant Sunshine Coast is based in beautiful Mooloolaba, 2 minutes from the beach and has been providing exceptional customer service to Sunshine Coast riders for over 15 years.  We are the largest retailer of Giant Bicycles in the area and pride ourselves on maintaining a friendly and professional store environment. Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Bike Store Manager to lead our team and drive the success of our store. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for cycling, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the shop, including sales, workshop overview, inventory management, and customer service.
• Lead and motivate a team to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer experiences.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase store revenue and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and the local cycling community.
• Provide product knowledge and technical support to customers and staff.

Requirements:

• At least 3 year's bike industry retail experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisor/management role.
• Solid bike product and technical knowledge.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiastic personality with a passion for cycling.
• Knowledge of bicycle mechanics would be a plus.
• Flexibility to work some weekends as required.
