Job Description Summary A newly created role is available for a Bids & Proposals Writer to join Service Stream's Corporate division based in either Melbourne, VIC or Sydney, NSW
About the Role
As the Bids & Proposals Writer, you will work in Service Stream’s Corporate division with the Business Development team and be responsible for developing high-quality, compelling and persuasive work winning content and associated written materials. Your expertise in written communication, research, and strategic thinking will be essential in delivering high-quality, consistent messaging, and bid specific content to support bids and proposal submissions, and new business opportunities across Service Stream.
In this newly created role, you can be based in Melbourne or Sydney with a mix of working from the office or from home. Service Stream’s office locations include Collins St, Melbourne CBD in Vic, and Chatswood or North Sydney in NSW
Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time (Hybrid)
Location: Flexible - Melbourne, VIC or Sydney, NSW
Reporting Line: Bids & Proposal Manager
Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development and enrichment of content quality management of the company wide work winning bid library

• Source information from across the business to develop customised and standardised written content for use in bids and proposals
• Develop new written content and customise pre-existing content and templates to create tailored bid responses
• Write and edit persuasive, compelling, and accurate content for tender responses, presentations and capability documents ensuring all information is accurate, relevant, well-structured, and aligned with our client’s requirements
• Work closely with corporate support teams and operational teams to gather information and understand project requirements
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather technical information and translate complex concepts into clear, concise, and easily understandable language and recommend graphics to be developed

• Support the ongoing drive to refine and improve the efficiency of bids and proposals processes and the quality of submissions across Service Stream

About You:

• 3+ years demonstrated experience in bid writing or similar discipline.
• Experience working for an essential services infrastructure contractor/provider or within a large professional organisation.
• Experience in a Bids & Proposals team setting or business development and working with operational groups.
• Proficient in MS Word and PowerPoint
