What you’ll do

We are seeking an experienced media professional to assist in all aspects of radio broadcast, a self-starter who can hit the ground running in our fast paced, dynamic studio where no two days are the same.

As the Big Sports Breakfast Producer you will work across production on Sky Sports Radio’s leading magazine program. You will fulfil a host of duties including: coordinate the daily news agenda with hosts, feature segments, talent and guests, planning programs, liaising with industry colleagues and stakeholders and working across live broadcast.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive and steer the news coverage and agenda of our flagship breakfast program
• Assist in navigating the daily coverage of sport and racing
• Source and coordinate on-air contributors  
• Create and develop radio programming including building rundowns 
• Research and generate ideas, segments and direction for and of programs  
• Help oversee the technical and organisational aspects of production 
• Liaise with digital and editorial teams around the show’s key points 

What you’ll bring

• Enthusiasm and ability to prioritise tasks with a willingness to learn
• Clear and effective communication with a high attention to detail
• News judgement and effective decision making
• Strong organising and planning skills
• Ability to multi-task and thrive under pressure
• Relationship building, networking and stakeholder engagement
• Experience in a news and live production and broadcast environment is desirable
• An understanding and interest in sport and preferably racing
