Specialized has an opening for an experienced Bike Mechanic to join our team at Planet Cycles in Woolloongabba. You have a passion for bikes and a broad technical background and love providing excellent service to our riders.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
- You enjoy meeting and making a connection with riders and helping to repair their bikes
- You love all things technical about bikes
- You can service, repair, diagnose and install updates to e-bikes
- You assist with bike sales with technical consulting, and any other sales floor duties as needed
- A clean workshop is important to you and you enjoy learning about new technology and products
- You enjoy using systems such as Hubtiger and are proficient with computers

SOME THINGS THAT WILL BE AN ADVANTAGE
- You have 3+ years’ experience as a Bicycle Mechanic
- You are a self starter and thrive on meeting deadlines and you like working in a fast paced environment
- You are able to work to a roster which includes Saturday’s
- You love to interact with riders
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel and Outlook
- You are able to lift at least 25kg or more and use proper lifting skills
