Contemporary information about upcoming events, opportunities for nurses and events are communicatedThe Position SummaryThe Communication and Event Coordinator is responsible for planning and supporting Nursing Services in the coordination of Events and activities. Events can be in-person, virtual/hybrid, or online and vary in participant numbers as well as on-site and off-site events. They will also assist in maintaining and updating Nursing Services information online sites as well as coordinating, and contributing to the development of communication strategies that support Nursing Services activity.Key Duties and Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Planing and managing events, internally and externally, in line with Nursing Services requirements.
- Working with internal/external stakeholders to develop strategies, prioritise, plan and increase Events and conferences.
- Provide guidance on virtual, hybrid and online event options to increase engagement and in line with risk assessment.
- Liaising with external stakeholders to ensure there is no conflict with event timings and content.
- Liaise with external stakeholders to cross promote events.
- Write and compile promotional material, onsite information, and all associated documentation to advertise and deliver the event schedule.
