Your part in it
We are looking for an experienced Billing Analyst to join our dynamic and customer focused Retail Operations team. The Billing Analyst role is dedicated to ensuring accurate and timely invoicing of our Residential, SME and C&I customers as well as the analysis and identification of exceptions for any process related improvements. This role works closely with all internal colleagues and any third-party vendors and government agencies.

What you’ll put into it
- conduct daily reconciliation and monthly billing analysis across the gas and electricity sections within the Business Operations team
- process operational exceptions to achieve KPIs results
- calculate and apply adjustments to invoices and statements as needed
- interact with internal and external customers to resolve any billing enquiries
- enhance and support our models for calculation of costs and revenues for gas and electricity
- liaise with stakeholders to ensure that processes and systems meet compliance while also participating in system testing to support retail regulatory changes.
- collate, analyse and provide key data insights for accurate and timely business reports to assist in business decision making and process improvements.
What you’ll bring to it
- proven operational experience in a transactional delivery team within billing environment
- ability to work to tight deadlines and schedules, while being a good team player and having the ability to work agile
- well-developed written and verbal communication skills as well at strong analytical, numerical and financial reconciliation skills
- desirable to have successful experience working to resolve operational metering and billing exceptions in a retail energy context
- some knowledge of Gentrack or CISOV billing solutions.
The ideal candidate will be proactive and motivated individual who has an analytical mind-set with strong attention to detail and willingness to deal with complex matters. You will be passionate about learning new systems and taking part in process improvement and large transformation projects.
