Our client specialises in Retail, Education, Industrial, Regeneration, Workplace and Wellbeing projects. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a talented Revit BIM Coordinator to join them in pushing the boundaries of design and construction technology.
Position Overview: As a Revit BIM Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in their project delivery process, leveraging your expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and proficiency in Revit to streamline workflows and enhance collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. You will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of BIM standards, providing technical support to project teams, and ensuring the successful integration of BIM into all phases of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain BIM execution plans, standards, and protocols in alignment with project requirements and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to establish project-specific BIM workflows and methodologies.
- Provide training and support to team members on Revit software and BIM processes, promoting efficiency and consistency in project delivery.
- Conduct model reviews to ensure compliance with BIM standards, accuracy of data, and coordination of design elements.
- Facilitate clash detection and resolution processes to minimize conflicts and optimize building performance.
- Manage the organization and maintenance of BIM project files and documentation, including model libraries, templates, and project archives.
- Stay current with advancements in BIM technology and industry trends, recommending enhancements to improve productivity and quality.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
- Demonstrated experience as a BIM Coordinator or similar role, with a strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
- In-depth knowledge of BIM principles, practices, and standards (e.g., LOD, COBie, IFC).
- Proficient in Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other relevant BIM software applications.
- Strong understanding of building design and construction processes.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Revit certification (preferred).
