The BIM Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating the information production and delivery processes within the defined project area of responsibility.

As the successful candidate, you will:

• Development and implementation of post-award Information Management Plans, procedures, and workflows to support information production and delivery processes to satisfy the engagement’s information requirements
• Ensure compliance with Information Standards and Information Management quality processes
• Contribute to the Information Management risk management strategy and identify & address risks to the engagement’s outcomes
• Implement and support training plans to ensure all members of the disciplines are sufficiently trained
• Manage data flows and work processes to enable data-centric delivery - maintaining consistency and quality across deliverables including data, documents, drawings and models
• Actively promote the facilitation of visual design coordination to ensure design intent across all disciplines
• Coach functional and discipline teams to leverage design coordination and clash detection tools within their own discipline to proactively design outcomes in a smart and timely manner
• Oversee a consistent approach to modelling of graphical (3D) data and inclusion of non-graphical data across, including appropriate technologies
• Ensure BIM processes/workflows are communicated and followed across the project for the federation and quality assurance of design models - graphical and data checking and verification, clash mitigation and control - general information for reports, model production and delivery
• Engage and collaborate with supply chain and sub-contractors to directly integrate fabrication/construction models within design models to ensure compliance
• Client liaison and communication

You bring to the role:

• Hold a degree or certificate in Architecture, Computer Science, Engineering or, related fields
• Experienced in data-centric BIM execution for EPCM and/or Design-Build delivery models and coordination of BIM teams
• Excellent communication, teamwork and collaboration skills
• Demonstrated competency as team leader who openly shares ideas and enjoys collaboration with others
• Prior experience using Bentley Open Suite, Autodesk Suite Revit, Infraworks, Civil3D, Inventor - advantageous
• Knowledge of the fundamentals of project execution will be highly regarded
