About opportunity
Under the leadership and guidance of the Supervising Biochemistry Scientist, you will be bringing your scientific skills and expertise to efficiently operate a range of automated analysers and software.
Applications should possess the following:
- Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Laboratory Science) or equivalent with subjects in Clinical Biochemistry is required.
- A minimum of 1 year post graduate experience in Clinical Biochemistry
- Experience with Chemistry and Immunoassay analysers within a high volume automated track environment is highly advantageous.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities:
- Adhering to company and quality policies and procedures.
- Ability to prioritise and organise workflow efficiently and safely.
- Maintaining and utilising analysers and equipment.
- Participating in all the relevant QAP and internal education programs.
- Demonstrate the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Exhibit high level of interpersonal skill and have the ability to work within a team environment.
- Availability to work on a rotating 24/7 roster which includes overnights, weekends and public holidays is a requirement of this role.
