We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational Biology / Science Teacher (Year 11 & 12) to join our team.
As a Biology / Science Teacher at St George College, you will ensure your students are engaged in a challenging, rigorous and interactive learning program where students “learn by doing”. You will also support and contribute to the extra-curricular and co-curricular programs which complement learning in the classroom.
Applicants must demonstrate;
- strong understanding of the Biology / Science Curriculum;
- strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum;
- an ability to motivate and inspire students
Essential requirements;
- Relevant teaching qualifications (minimum Diploma level) and/or experience in working in similar role.
- Current Working with Children clearance
- Current Responding to Abuse or Neglect certificate
- Current First Aid certificate
This is a 0.8 -1.0 FTE contract position commencing on immediately.
