What We Are Looking For:
We are currently seeking a full-time Biomedical Engineer in the Virtual Surgical Planning department who can represent 3D Systems in Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing relationships with new partners and preparing planning files for virtual surgical planning meetings. This will include viewing medical imaging modalities, simulating surgical procedures and preparing cephalometric analysis. Candidates will also be responsible for the coordination and execution for virtual surgical planning meetings with our healthcare customers. Excellent communication skills are required.
What You Will Do:
- Interface directly with healthcare professionals, staff, and sales representatives to perform surgical planning via phone, emails and web meetings.
- Use CAD software to manipulate 3D files and combine multiple datasets for surgical planning.
- Manage multiple priorities and communicate closely with a multidisciplinary team, most of whom are headquartered in the US.
- Maintain detailed records of each case in accordance with the company’s Quality Management System.
- View patient CT and MRI studies in DICOM format and identify anatomies of interest.
What You Will Bring:
- BS in Biomedical, Mechanical or another relevant technical field
- Experience: 0-2 years of relevant work experience
- Experience collaborating or interacting with medical professionals
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key customers
