Key Responsibilities:
- Perform various manual labour tasks related to bitumen construction, including spreading aggregate and transporting plant/equipment.
- Operate and maintain equipment efficiently and in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Assist with worksite traffic management and ensure all safety protocols are adhered to.
- Work collaboratively within a team and contribute to overall workplace improvements.
About You:
Qualifications:
- Current HC Licence or above
- White card – Construction Induction Card
Experience:
- Previous Spray Seal - Civil experience is advantageous but not required.
- Proven manual labour experience.
Skills and Competencies:
- Ability to work outdoors and perform physically demanding tasks for up to 12 hours per day.
- Excellent work references and a great attitude.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work within a team.
- Ability to travel with the crew and stay away from home when required.
- Able to pass drug and alcohol pre-employment tests and regular screenings.
Desirable:
- Plant Tickets (Roller, Skid Steer, Front End Loader)
- Workzone Traffic Management (WZTM) are preferred but not essential.
