Installation and / or sales consulting skills are the requirements.
 
This Kingaroy opportunity offers the flexibility to adapt the duties to match the applicant’s strengths for in-home product installation and / or client consultation and sales.
 
Therefore, the opportunity should be of equal interest to:

• Applicants with relevant trade, home handyperson or home renovation skills for installations.
• Applicants with customer service and sales skills for in-store and in-home client consultations and sales.
• Applicants who have experience across both fields and willing to be involved in the entire process from client consulting to the final installation of product purchased.

What You Will Do:
 
Duties will be diverse and will be adapted from the following list to best suit the strengths of the successful applicant:

• The delivery of excellent customer focussed service.
• Assisting with in-store customer enquiries.
• In-home and in-store consulting with customers.
• Accurately measuring and providing quotes.
• Completing sales documentation.
• Placing product orders.
• Scheduling installations.
• Product installations.
• Assisting in other areas of the business as required.
• Compliance with all safety, policy and procedure standards.

What You Will Need:
 
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

• A willingness to learn and maintain current product knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• The ability to accurately measure.
• Sound computer and administration skills.
• The ability to work effectively without supervision.
• A strong team commitment.
• A current “C” class driver licence

Other requirements will depend on the allocation of duties to best suit the skills of the successful applicant.
Therefore, preference will be shown to applicants able to also offer any of the following:

• Sales experience.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Experience within the Construction Industry eg Carpenter, Cabinet Maker, Builder, Trades Assistant, Labourer or Apprentice etc.
• Experience with home renovations or home handyperson skills.
• Familiarity with power tools.
