The Board, supported by the ACT Chief Engineer, will comprise government, education and industry leaders who contribute insight and expertise to inform strategic directions to help shape our engineering practices for the benefit of the community. The Board will: advocate for the engineering sector; provide strategic advice to government on emerging engineering issues; promote innovation and current industry trends in the engineering profession; provide strategic advice on engineer workforce planning for the ACT Government and industry; and support the implementation of the ACT's Professional Engineers Registration Scheme, as required by the Professional Engineers Registrar.
