Boat Building Supervsior - Aluminium Boats

Position Available - Boat Building Supervisor 

Pacific Manufacturing,  manufactures both the Horizon and Stessl Aluminium range of boats, located at our new facility at Coomera on the Gold Coast. 

Due to continued growth, we are seeking the services of an experienced Boat Builder Supervisor who is able to join our Factory team. 

Reporting to the Production Manager, we require a suitably experienced Boat Building Supervisor to manage the section. Previous experience working in a marine environment would be an advantage. 

This is a full time , permanent position.

Hours are: Monday to Thursday 6am- 2:30pm  and Friday 6am-12.30pm (Overtime work available and may be required). 

Responsibilities include: 

- Lead and Supervise the Boat Building Team of 10+ employees  
- Ensure daily / weekly and monthly productivity time frames are achieved 
- Have a hands on approach with high attention to detail and quality control
- Have a strong understanding of workflow and delivering direction to staff
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment as part of a team and independently                                                                                                           

Trade qualification or an understanding of welding operations and processes is desirable
