Boiler Maker

As a Boiler Maker at Anchor Homes, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing process, ensuring the structural integrity and quality of our modular homes. Your expertise in welding and general labour tasks will contribute to the production of safe, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing homes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welding: Perform various MIG welding techniques to assemble and join structural components of modular homes.
• Assembly: Assist in the assembly and installation of prefabricated components, ensuring precise measurements and alignment.
• Cutting and Fabrication: Accurately cut and fabricate metal components according to project specifications, using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Quality Control: Conduct inspections to ensure the quality, integrity, and safety of welded structures, promptly addressing any defects or issues.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines, protocols, and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
• General Labour: Support various labour tasks, including material handling, site cleanup, and other duties as required.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with fellow team members, including designers and other tradespeople to achieve project goals and timelines.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Adherence to Regulations: Comply with all relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations in the welding and construction field.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Welder or in a similar role.
• Valid welding certifications and licenses are a plus.
• Proficiency in MIG welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
• Physical fitness for labour-intensive tasks and the ability to work in various weather conditions & locations.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable and punctual.
