Boilermaker

Busy manufacturing facility in northern suburbs seeking experienced boilermaker to join their team

Our client operates a very busy production facility in the far northern suburbs of Perth.
We are seeking a qualified Boilermaker Welder to join the Operations team working 4 x 12 hour dayshifts Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years prior experience as a Boilermaker, preferably in a manufacturing environment, and hold an Engineering Fabrication Trade qualification.

Duties include:

• Regularly maintaining plant and equipment.
• Rectifying breakdowns within a timely manner.
• Interpreting mechanical / engineering drawings.
• Diagnosing issues.
• Equipment installation and fabrication.
• Flexibility to be available for on-call work when required.

Selection Criteria:

• Engineering Fabrication Trade qualification.
• Current LF license.
• Current driver's license.
• Minimum of 5 years fixed plant manufacturing experience.
• EWP license.
• Working at heights competency.
• Confined space confirmation of competency.
