C&H Recruitment are currently looking for qualified and experienced Boilermakers/Welders to join our client's team in Mackay.
Our client specialise in heavy engineering, manufacturing and project delivery in one of the most modern workshop facilities within the region.
This role will involve working your boilermaking and fabrication skills on new builds including chutes, underpans, feeder boxes, sumps as well as ongoing repair work on various mining equipment including trays, buckets, and blades. All of this with more contracts and work getting approved weekly!
Ongoing casual roles or temp to perm roles available
About the Job:

• $65.00 hourly rate
• 6am - 5pm (11 hour shifts)
• Monday to Friday
• Local Mackay workshop
• General fabrication and welding including MIG, TIG and Flux Core

Job Requirements:

• Australian recognised trade certificate in welding/fabrication
• Proven experience in heavy fabrication
• Ability to complete and pass a weld test
• High risk tickets - doggers, forklift, or gantry (highly regarded)
• Comply with workshop and site HSEQ policies
• Work well within a team environment
