Your new company is a well-regarded SME that supply to globally renowned and recognized clients. Based in Hallam, and specialising in fabrication, laser cutting, metal coating, CNC brake press and 3D cad design and drafting, your new organization produces both one-off engineered products to batch type work. Your new role

Your new role will see you reporting to the Founder, and working convenient day shift hours 7am - 3.30pm with possible overtime available on occasion.

You will be working with ample autonomy adhering to a mix of boilermaker duties (MIG, TIG, mild steel, stainless and alloy), with a team of 2 others. Your new role will see you reading and interpreting engineering drawing, and executing the product with the final quality inspection being in your hands. You will be upskilled on working with a Brake Presses and a Laser Machines as needed - allowing you to upskill and round out your skills in the field. Your new role allows for diversity of work, the ability to learn from experts in the field of Engineering, including the Founder who drives a positive, supportive work culture.

Not only does your new role allow for ample diversity, occasional overtime, and the ability to learn in a SME unique to only small businesses, but a great work environment for those who enjoy autonomy and can confidently execute directly from engineering designs.

What you need to succeed

• Boiler experience - MIG, TIG, mild steel, alloy and stainless;
• Proven background having worked highly autonomously;
• Local to Hallam, and ability to be flexible with Saturday work as needed;
• Openness to adhere to duties outside of job description as the company expands, potentially even as a future Team Lead; and
• Team player, and the ability to work autonomously to read and interpret drawings with excellent execution.
