For: A skilled and dedicated Boilermaker / Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and assembling metal components with precision, and performing high-quality welding tasks using both MIG and TIG techniques. BenefitsTask & Responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities: Accurately measure, cut, and assemble metal components using tools such as shears, saws, drills, and welders.
Design and set up jigs or fixtures for metal component assembly. Utilize precision measuring tools to ensure specifications are met. Apply knowledge of metallurgy for selecting welding rods and methods.
Perform structural integrity testing and inspections. Collaborate with engineers and tradespeople on metal structure development. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Contribute to process improvement through innovative techniques. Qualification & Experience Essential Criteria: Must be an Australian Permanent Resident, Australian Citizen, or eligible NZ citizen. Holder of Certificate III (including two years on-the-job training) or Certificate or have 3+ years relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience in the field. Good communication skills in English. Team player and flexibility to meet business needs.
Desirable Attributes: Strong work ethic and reliability. Proficiency in FCAW, GTAW, MMAW welding of both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Valid driver's license.
