Boilermaker / Welder

Bunbury drilling company continues to be one of the leading water well drilling contractors servicing the Pilbara and other parts of Western Australia.

We are currently looking for a fit, hardworking Boiler Maker to join our Bunbury Team. This role will be Monday to Friday, working 9 hours a day. (Overtime and some Saturday's maybe required)

What you will need is the confidence that you can perform in a demanding working environment. You will need to demonstrate that you can work safely, as instructed while complying with all company and site requirements.

 Duties and Responsibilities 
• Liaise with Workshop Supervisor on daily work plan requirements
• Ability to independently read and interpret engineering drawings, but also have the
ability to work without drawings
• Core experiences in Oxy Acetylene, stick, MIG, Flux core welding
• Fabricate and shape structural steel and plate work to a high standard
• General assembly of projects / fit outs on workshop builds
• Diagnose and repair faults with various heavy vehicles and drill rigs
• Maintaining and cleaning of work area and equipment
• Inspecting equipment for proper functioning
• Ability to meet tight timeframes or schedules

Essential Requirements:

• Trade certified Boilermaker / Welder
• High Risk Work License for Forklift
• Minimum C-Class license
• Apply First Aid certificate
• Working to the Quality assurance System
