This position is NOT a FIFO position.
This position is best suited to Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents living in Kalgoorlie.

Your role @ABBA
- Fabrication and Welding: fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures, pressure vessels, and pipes using a range of welding techniques and tasks to relevant specifications, ensuring compliance with job requirements and safety standards.
- Quality Control: Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintaining a clean and safe work environment, whether in the workshop or on-site.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues, including welders, fitters, project managers, and site supervisors, to coordinate work activities and achieve production targets.
- Documentation and Reporting: Complete timesheets and any required paperwork accurately and promptly, ensuring compliance with administrative procedures and project requirements.
What we are looking for:
- Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication or boilermaking
- Current C Class Drivers Licence with intention for class upgrade as required
- Current Forklift Licence
- Confined Space Ticket
- Working at Heights Ticket
- Elevated Working Platform Licence
- At least 5 years’ experience in metal fabrication and welding
