Position Overview: We are looking for a qualified and experienced Boilermaker/Welder to join our team in a hands-on, permanent residential role. This is not a FIFO position. Enjoy the benefits of working in Central Australia while reducing travel time and costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Trade qualification in fabrication with 7+ years post-trade workshop experience.
- Proficiency in all welding processes (MIG, TIG, etc.) and ability to read and understand drawings.
- Work unsupervised, troubleshoot, and lead a small team.
- Hold required tickets (WAH, EWP, confined space); HR license is an advantage.
- Rigger/dogmen desirable.
- Must be able to pass medical and police clearance.
Remuneration Package:
- $45.00–50.00 per hour flat rate as a full-time position (rate depends on qualifications and experience).
- Additional $7.00 per hour allowance for remote work.
- If you have leading-hand experience, an additional $2.00 per hour.
- Annual and personal leave entitlements.
- $2,000 accommodation support package (T&C's apply $200 allowance per week over 10 weeks)
- Flight or equivalent reimbursement for travel to Alice Springs (T&C's apply).
