A great opportunity exists for an experienced Boilermaker/Welder-Hands On Supervisor to join the team at Leussink Engineering, a world-leading precision engineering company with the latest welding technology equipment and based in Wollongong, NSW.
The position has the dual responsibility of estimating and scheduling of production work through the complete stages of the manufacturing process. Like all new employees who join the Leussink family, you will be mentored, coached and trained on the Leussink Way and importantly, on some of the world's most sophisticated and modern equipment.
The full time position offers varied and interesting hands-on boilermaker and welding work on mining, heavy industrial, defence, transport, and other large, critically important equipment. The role also involves assisting the Workshop Manager to manage and guide a small team to meet client deadlines and quality requirements.
About You
As the successful applicant, you will be an experienced Boilermaker and Welder and preferably have:
Experience in creating and maintaining WPS & PQR documentation;
8F, 8G and/or Welding Supervisor's certificate to AS2214 or equivalent;
Good personnel mentoring, coaching & supervisory skills.
