Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled Boilermaker Welder to join our team at the Bibra Lake Workshop. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing repairs and fabrications on our fleet of mining equipment, as well as conducting on-site repairs at our mine sites in the Goldfields. This role offers the opportunity to customize your own work vehicle/fabrication truck to suit your preferences.
Responsibilities:
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks on mining equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance both at the workshop and on-site in the Goldfields.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Boilermaker Welder, preferably in a mining or heavy equipment environment.
- Proficiency in welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to remote mine sites.
