AddressRCR Mining Technologies is seeking experienced Boilermaker Welders to join our team located at the Welshpool Workshop on either a weekday day shift from 6-2.30pm or an afternoon shift (with an additional uplift) from 2.30pm-11.00pm. A reasonable amount of overtime is offered on both shifts.
In this role you will be responsible for the fabrication of large mining structural steel and mechanical equipment, piping packages as well as maintenance and repair work.
To be considered for this position, you will need:
- An Australian recognised Boilermaking / Welding Trade Certificate
- A Dogging or Basic Rigging ticket
- Significant experience in Boilermaking / Structural Steel, Chutes & Hoppers
- A good ability to read detailed shop drawings
- A sound understanding of welding joint preparations and welding procedures
- Experience working to find tolerance with speed, accuracy and attention to detail
- To be physically fit to handle heavy manual work in an industrial workshop environment
- A solid commitment to safety
- To integrate well as a reliable member of a diverse and multi-skilled team
