THE ROLE:
Boilermaker to be part of a small team to perform a variety of duties including general fabrication, carbon/stainless steel welding in a workshop and on site. This role will suit a tradesperson who has the ability to trouble shoot and work autonomously as well as in part of a team. You will work well under pressure and be able to pay strong attention to detail.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
Working with carbon and stainless steel
Welding duties as required (MIG, TIG and STICK)
Ability to interpret and fabricate items from engineering drawings
Knowledge in the safe use of hand tools and equipment required to perform tasks
Ablility to work safely and understand best practice in a construction and workshop environment
Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of personnel

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Boilermaker completed trade certificate or competent 2nd class welder
Skilled Stainless steel/carbon welder
Confined space, EWP ,Forklift and work at height tickets would be advantageous
Unrestricted Drivers licence.
You must have the right to live and work in Australia.
